Workforce Development (WFD) supports students in developing a professional foundation through training and work-based learning, as well as creates a professional network of partners through outreach, advocacy and relationship building.
Every year, Pathways to Graduation Queens seeks real world opportunities to spark student's career interests. Internships offers the opportunity to learn by doing; where you are supervised by a professional who can provide hard skills training and the information needed to navigate the world of work. The internship experience is designed to help students build new skills in a career pathway, add work experience to their resume, and develop relationships and networks with successful professionals. WFD creates opportunities for all students to develop the professional skills and resilience needed to succeed in the evolving 21st century economy.
